Smash, Splash, and Victory! RCB Are the Queens of the Cricket World Again!

What an unbelievable night in Vadodara! If you like fireworks, high-speed chases, and super-cool heroes, then the WPL 2026 Final was the place to be. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) took on the Delhi Capitals (DC) in a match that felt like a superhero movie come to life!

Part 1: Delhi Sets a Giant Target

Delhi Capitals batted first and they were on fire! Their captain, Jemimah Rodrigues, played like a boss, scoring 57 runs. Then came Chinelle Henry, who hit the ball so hard it probably needed a vacation! She smashed 35 runs in just 15 balls.

By the end, Delhi had 203 runs. That is a HUGE score—in fact, it was the highest ever in a WPL Final! Everyone thought, "Wait, can RCB actually chase this?"

  Part 2: The Mandhana & Voll Super-Show

Then came the RCB openers. Our favorite captain, Smriti Mandhana, and the amazing Georgia Voll walked out like they had a mission. And boy, did they deliver!

  • Smriti Mandhana: She hit 87 runs with 12 fours and 3 massive sixes!

  • Georgia Voll: She was right there with her, scoring 79 runs.

They shared a massive 165-run partnership. It was like they were playing a video game on "easy mode"!

   Part 3: The Last-Minute Drama!

Even though Smriti and Georgia did the hard work, the end was a total nail-biter! RCB needed 10 runs from the last 6 balls. The crowd was screaming, and the pressure was high.

But Radha Yadav stayed as cool as an ice cube. She stepped up and hit back-to-back boundaries (fours) to finish the game with just 2 balls left!

Final Score: RCB (204/4) beat DC (203/4) by 6 wickets!

Why this was the best match ever:

  1. History Made: It was the highest-scoring final ever!

  2. Girl Power: These athletes showed that they can hit the ball just as far and run just as fast as anyone else.

  3. The Trophy: RCB now has two WPL trophies. They are officially the Queens of the Pitch!

Congratulations to the RCB Bold Army!

On Thursday, the Gujarat Giants took on the UP Warriorz at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium (Kotambi). It was a must-win game for the Giants, and they delivered it perfectly. First Innings: Sophie Devine’s Calm Class UP Warriorz won the toss and decided to bowl first. At first, it seemed like a smart move as they kept taking wickets at regular intervals. However, two players stood tall for Gujarat: Sophie Devine : The "New Zealand powerhouse" played a beautiful, unbeaten knock of 50 off 42 balls* . She hit 2 fours and 3 massive sixes! Beth Mooney : The captain added a solid 38 runs , helping the team build a foundation. Thanks to a late surge from Devine, the Giants reached 153/8 in their 20 overs. India vs. NZ: Abhishek Sharma Fired Boundaries Rained!

India vs. NZ: Abhishek Sharma Fired Boundaries Rained!  The 5-match T20i series between India and New Zealand kicked off with a bang at the VCA Stadium in Jamtha ! The Toss: New Zealand Opts to Bowl The match started with New Zealand winning the toss. They chose to bowl first, hoping the pitch would help their pacers early on. For a moment, it looked like a good decision. India’s star opener, Sanju Samson , was caught early for just 10 runs. But that was the last bit of good news for the Kiwis! The Abhishek Sharma Show 💥 Once Sanju departed, Abhishek Sharma took charge. He didn't just play; he dominated! Abhishek "fired" at every New Zealand bowler, hitting boundaries all over the park. He turned the game into a highlight reel, making the crowd go wild. He wasn't alone, though. India’s middle order kept the momentum high: Hardik Pandya provided the muscle. Suryakumar Yadav played well as captain. Rinku Singh finished things off with his usual explosive style. ...
