India Seals the Series! Abhishek’s Record-Breaking Blast Destroys New Zealand

India Seals the Series! Abhishek’s Record-Breaking Blast Destroys New Zealand

The series decider is over, and the result is clear: India is unstoppable! In a high-speed clash at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati, India crushed New Zealand to take an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the 5-match series.

First Innings: The Return of the Bowling King  Bumrah

India won the toss and chose to bowl first, and boy, did that pay off! The big news was the return of Jasprit Bumrah and Ravi Bishnoi to the lineup. They didn't just play; they took over the game.

  • The Dynamic Duo: Bumrah (3/17) and Bishnoi (2/18) were impossible to hit. Both finished with an incredible economy rate under 5.0, which is almost unheard of in T20 cricket!

  • Kiwi Collapse: New Zealand struggled from the start. Only four of their players reached double digits, with Glenn Phillips (48) playing a lone hand.

  • The Target: New Zealand finished with a modest 153/9 in their 20 overs.

Second Innings: Abhishek Sharma’s Record-Shattering Storm

If you thought the target was low, the Indian batters made it look even smaller. Even though Sanju Samson fell for a duck on the very first ball, the fireworks didn't stop.

Abhishek Sharma was the star of the show. He played one of the most explosive innings in Indian history:

  • The Record: Abhishek smashed the 2nd fastest T20i half-century by an Indian, reaching 50 in just 14 balls! (Only the legendary Yuvraj Singh has been faster).

  • Final Score: He ended on 68 off just 20 balls* with 7 fours and 5 sixes.

He was backed up by Ishan Kishan (28 off 13) and captain Suryakumar Yadav, who scored a smooth 57 off 26 balls*.

A Massive Win for Team India

India didn't just win; they sprinted to the finish line. They reached the target of 154 in just 10 overs (60 balls remaining)! Despite a few small fielding mistakes again, the sheer power of the Indian batting lineup was too much for the Kiwis.
